Dr Hsin-Vonn Seow, Assistant Professor in Operations 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ at Nottingham 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ Business School Malaysia, has been invited to the panel of judges for the SAS-EON Bank Group Knowledge Discovery Challenge 2010 Finals to be held on September 22, 2010.

The national-level competition will see the top 6 teams from participating universities in Malaysia presenting business proposals based on the application of data mining to marketing and campaign management, with data analysis conducted using SAS software (http://www.sas.com).

Hsin-Vonn's research interests lie in applications of management science techniques in finance and banking with a strong interest in credit scoring and credit control, interactive application channels (internet and telephone banking) for financial products, and data mining.
