Biography

Saizi joins the School of Economics, 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham Malaysia in July 2022. Prior to this, she worked as a 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ Fellow at Malaysian Institute of Economic 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ (MIER). With the GRAS Scholarship under the High Impact 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ (HIR) Program of Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia, Saizi completed her PhD in Development Economics at 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Malaya. So far, she has been studying, living and working in Malaysia for more than ten years. Before moving to Kuala Lumpur, she obtained her Master Degree in Development Studies from Adam Smith Business School, 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Glasgow, UK.

Expertise Summary

Beyond academic research, Saizi has been leading or engaged in various consulting projects for Malaysian government agencies such as Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), and for international organizations such as UNDP, OIC and ASEAN Secretariat.
