Petaling Jaya, 3 September 2025 – The 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM), through its Careers Advisory Service (CAS), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global beauty leader L’Oréal Malaysia. The partnership aims to create meaningful career pathways for graduates while equipping students with both technical and soft skills, as well as industry-relevant knowledge in the beauty and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. 

The MoU was signed by Tomas Hruska, Managing Director of L’Oréal Malaysia-Singapore, and Patrick Joseph, Registrar of the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham Malaysia. Also present at the ceremony were Prof. Hazel Melanie Ramos, Vice Provost (Teaching and Learning), Jag Singh, Director of Student Recruitment and Marketing, and Alicia Ch’ng, Head of Careers Advisory Service. 

Building on a Strong Partnership 

CAS has long supported L’Oréal Malaysia on initiatives such as the L’Oréal Brandstorm competition. This formal partnership reinforces UNM’s commitment to collaborating with leading global brands to benefit students and graduates. 

As part of the agreement, students will gain access to talent development and recruitment initiatives, including the L’Oréal Youth Trendsetters Ambassador Programme and the L’Oréal IGNITE Internship Programme. These platforms will give UNM students first-hand opportunities to grow personally and professionally while positioning themselves as future leaders in the industry. 

Empowering Future Talent 

The MoU signing was complemented by an Upskilling Session co-organised with WomenGirls, a non-profit organisation. The session brought together more than 80 students, including five from UNM, alongside peers from other universities. Participants explored strategies to empower underrepresented talent and develop skills for success in competitive industries. 

With this collaboration, UNM students are set to benefit from enhanced opportunities to connect with industry leaders, gain hands-on experience, and develop the skills needed to succeed in this competitive career landscape.
